Being Vegan, we juice several times a week. We would love to juice every day if we had the extra time. We make three batches of veggie juice twice a week. Each person drinks a jar full of juice daily. YUM! We will be adding another batch soon for a few extra people.
We go to the local farmer's market for organic vegetables. They are actually priced the same as the local health food grocery store, but we get a discount for buying bulk! Sometimes the vendors also give me free stuff because I talk with them. What we can't find there we get at the store.
Here is the list we get from farmer's for the juice:
We get the carrots from Costco. They sell a huge bag of Organic carrots pretty cheap. We use the ENTIRE bag.
Trader Joe's and Sprouts has great Romaine hearts, cucumbers and celery.
