This is so true!
Too many people are just plain squashed by other people they know and do not even realize it! These "squashers" could be anyone, friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and/or acquaintances. The answer does not lie in a bottle of pills or alcohol. It could be as simple as blocking a phone number or pretending to be too busy. You could take more drastic measures by, hiring a body guard, building a moat around your house, or moving out of the Country.
Get educated on how to spot these people and how to handle or avoid them. You can't soar with the eagles when someone is actively ripping your wing feathers out! If you don't feel good or happy around the people you know, find new people. There is no shortage.
(Personally, I love the idea of building a moat. I've always thought it would be great to have one. It would basically be an extended pond around your house, but instead of Koi fish I would get creative on other type animals I'd toss in my moat. Don't get me started!)
You have a birth given right to be happy. BE HAPPY!
